Position: Human Resources Manager
Position Summary:
Cellics Therapeutics is seeking a HR Manager to support corporate activities in recruiting, benefits management, employee communications, performance management, employee onboarding & offboarding, and other human resources functions. The HR manager will plan, develop, and coordinate HR policies and activities, ensure legal compliance with labor law requirements, and oversee employee compliance with company policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the management team in developing and implementing HR policies and processes to support corporate strategies.
- Assist the management team in performance evaluation and management, recruiting strategy, compensation structure, and employee retention.
- Manage benefits enrollment and termination.
- Organize and lead employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Help new employees resolve onboarding issues such as relocation and obtaining work visas.
- Organize and maintain employee HR records to ensure completeness of documentation and compliance with government and company policies.
- Maintain and update employee handbook as needed.
- Lead company recruiting effort including finalizing and posting job advertisements, screening candidates, communicating with candidates, and preparing job offers.
- Develop best practices for hiring and talent acquisition.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Other HR duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree. Certification in HR is a plus.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in human resources roles.
- HR experience in biotech/ pharmaceutical industry highly desirable.
- Familiar with labor laws and regulations.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently.
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic and growing environment.
