Areas of Interest

Cellics currently focuses on using red blood cell membrane (RBC) coated Nanosponges for four areas with unmet medical needs: Infectious Diseases, Rare & Ultra Rare Diseases, Anti-venom, and Vaccines. In the area of infectious diseases, Cellics seeks to address the pressing issue of antibiotic resistance and severe septic shock from antibiotic treatment, which causes high mortality rate in hospitals. In the area of rare & ultra rare diseases, Cellics addresses the autoimmune diseases that attack patients’ red blood cells but lack treatment options other than steroid. Using Nanosponges as a decoy for toxins attacking red blood cells, Cellics also strives to develop a universal anti-venom to treat venomous animal bites and stings. Besides disease treatment, Cellics also seeks to develop effective vaccines for various diseases.

Our Mission

Cellics is committed to saving lives and improving patients’ health using innovative biomimetic nanomedicines. We strive to develop more effective and safer therapeutics and vaccines for diseases and unmet medical needs.
